The interest in Holistic Health and Food & Lifestyle diseases developed over time while counseling patients during preoperative visits and evaluations. Patients who suffered from Obesity, Type2 Diabetes, and Heart disease were always delighted to discover that food and lifestyle were the cause of their, problem. That, It is the food and lifestyle change that will help them fix their problem, not the expensive medicines alone. After retiring from medical practice in January 2018, Dr. Sukhani decided to carry on the task of health education on “ Preservation of Health and Prevention of Disease via Food and Lifestyle change.” The new medical research on the pathophysiology of obesity and associated Food and lifestyle diseases had been bringing encouraging new insights. It has been inspiring to pursue Public health education, especially in the country of her origin, India, where Obesity and Type 2 diabetes have reached epidemic proportions. Her philosophy is rooted in the following enduring truth which helped Allopathic medicine conquer the great epidemics of contagious diseases such as Cholera, smallpox, and Polio:

“ In medicine, we ought to know the cause of sickness to be able to find its prevention and cure.”
( Avicenna, Persian Physician 973-1037)

Synthetic foods and unbalanced lifestyles are the root cause of modern epidemics of obesity, Type2 diabetes, and many related diseases. The only way to conquer these diseases is by following the above enduring philosophy. That is adopting holistic natural food and a balanced lifestyle.
